Our Leadership Team

Serah Malaba
Co-CEO
Serah Malaba leads Tiko’s strategic programme delivery, government engagement and impact across Tiko’s operating geographies to drive better health outcomes for adolescent girls and young women. A visionary leader, she brings deep expertise in public health and a proven track record of leading large-scale, high-impact collaborations in reproductive health, HIV prevention and treatment, community health digitalisation, and public-private sector partnerships. Having lost both parents to AIDS at age 24, Serah’s lived experience fuels her commitment to health access for girls. She has held leadership roles at Living Goods, Population Services International and at the Kenya National AIDS and STIs Control Program.

Benoit Renard
Co-CEO
As the Founder and Co-CEO of Tiko, Benoit Renard has spent over a decade driving the organization’s vision and technological evolution from its headquarters in Cape Town. With more than 25 years of cross-sector experience in Europe and Africa, he specialises in blending social development with marketing, business, and technology to create sustainable, shared value at the community level. Benoit currently leads Tiko’s long-term trajectory, focusing on outcomes-based financing, private-sector partnerships, and the organization’s innovation agenda to scale impact well beyond 2030. Before founding Tiko, Benoit led strategic marketing and communications initiatives with Populations Services International and Added Value.
