Join the Tiko ecosystem
Grow your community impact
Millions of girls aged 15-24 in sub-Saharan Africa experience the interrelated risks of unintended pregnancy, HIV and sexual violence. We call it the triple threat. Yet, fewer than half access the medical care they need. At the root of this lies fragmented services, stigma, affordability, and lack of awareness.
At Tiko, we believe that real change happens from within the community. Through our tech-enabled platform, Tiko has created a proven solution that connects girls to community organizations and mobilisers, healthcare providers and retailers in an integrated ecosystem designed around girls’ needs.
Local partnership
Our ecosystem partners

Mobilisers
Peer mobilisers are the heartbeat of our ecosystem. They are community health outreach workers from community-based organizations, usually young women from the same communities they serve. They are a girl’s first point of contact with Tiko, providing trusted information, screening for triple threat risks, enrolling her onto the Tiko ecosystem, and referring her to nearby providers.
Health service providers
Tiko’s services are delivered through local public and private clinics and pharmacies. We partner with providers across both sectors to preserve choice for girls, strengthen public capacity, and relieve pressure on public systems when they are overstretched. We reimburse clinics to keep services and supplies free for girls.

Local retailers
When girls access services and provide feedback, they earn Tiko Miles – our behavioural loyalty programme that rewards use of all services equally. Girls redeem Miles with partner retailers for essentials like menstrual pads, soap and food. These rewards encourage girls to stay engaged in their care.
How it works
How we connect our partners in the girls’ ecosystem
At the core of our model is a tech platform that connects all of our ecosystem partners. It enables referrals, verifies service delivery, processes payments and generates real-time data to inform improvements. Girls can access services using QR-coded cards or SMS — no smartphone or internet needed. Our partners use our dedicated apps.
Impact
Community-based organizations (CBOs)
At Tiko, we see firsthand how community-driven, high-impact solutions power care for adolescent girls and young women. We are proud to partner with community-based organizations across sub-Saharan Africa to meet young people where they are and connect them to integrated, youth-friendly services.
